Children acutely malnourished
Nationwide, some 1.8 million children and 1.1 million pregnant or lactating women are acutely malnourished. This number includes 400,000 children under the age of five who are severely malnourished. Some 16 million people lack access to safe water and sanitation, and 18 million lack access to adequate healthcare.
